HEY ALL!

NO, I DIDN'T DIE AND NEITHER DID STARVINGIGUANAS.COM. SAME STORY AS USUAL... LOTSA TRAIN RIDING AND LOTSA TRAVELING AND FAR AWAY FROM A COMPUTER. BUT ALAS I HAVE FOUND A NEW FOUND GLORY. I'M SOMEWHERE SAFE WHERE I CAN CHILL FOR A WHILE AND GET BACK ON TRACK WITH MY OWN PHOTOGRAPHY AND WRITING AND ESPECIALLY WITH STARVINGIGUANAS.COM.ONCE I ADD SOME NEW PHOTOS AND WORKS I WILL EMAIL YOU ALL AND LET YOU KNOW OF THE PROGRESS. BUT THIS SITE WILL NOT STAY DEAD AS IT HAD BEEN FOR MUCH TOO LONG, MY ONLY PURPOSE FOR COMING BACK TO THIS HAVEN WAS TO GET MY HEAD STRAIGHT AND GET BACK TO THE ART... SO HERE I GO.

I CAN'T WATERMARK MY NEWER PHOTOS (I DONT HAVE PHOTOSHOP) BUT I THINK I MAY ADD THEM ANYWAY OR FIND SOME GHETTO WAY OF DOING IT SO THAT YA'LL CAN SEE SOME OF MY NEW PHOTOS. I HAVE MANY NEW SHORT STORIES AND POEMS TO ADD AS WELL. I'M GOING TO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT AS MANY IGUANAS AS I CAN WHILE IN THE AREA AND WORK WITH THEM ON WHATEVER WE CAN AS WELL. SO HOPEFULLY THAT WILL GO WELL ALSO.

Any artists involved or those who may soon get involved, here is a quick once over on how to load your images onto the site. It's pretty easy...
If you want to load Photography (or even photos of art...) get a Flickr.com account (you can probably use Shutterbug.com or Photobucket.com as well... though I haven't personally tried them...)

(also keep in mind you can definitely have separate porfolios such as if you had Photography and Art and Written Art... If you want separate portfolios just ask me! If you haven't noticed I have 3... one for photography, art and written words)

1. Load your photos/Images onto the Flickr.com site.  

2. Once loaded, click on the photo/image to enlarge it

3. Right click on your photo/image and select 'PROPERTIES'

4. Highlight the 'LOCATION'given and copy it

The 'LOCATION' is the 'IMAGE URL' that you need to load that photo/image onto the starvingiguanas.com site.

So now you are ready to add your image to your portfolio (assuming we have talked and a portfolio has been created for you already...)

1. log in (assuming you have already registered)

2. click on 'Add to my portfolio'

3. hit 'NEW

4. hit the image button (look like a little tree) on the tool bar (the toolbar is right above the text box)

5. retype or paste the LOCATION from Flickr.com

Your image will not show up immediately. It has to be 'approved' until I can figure out how to change that. I want you to be able to upload stuff without administrator approval, hopefully figure that out soon.
